Introduction to Gravity Forms

  1. After logging into your website locate “Forms” in the left-hand sidebar of the admin.
  2. Click “Forms” to visit the forms dashboard.
  3. To create a new form choose “Add New” from the forms dashboard.
  4. Give the form a title and a description.

The Standard Field options include:

  • Single line text is used for anything that a user will answer with a short reply.
  • Paragraph text is used for question and/or comment fields. If the question requires a detailed answer paragraph text is a good form field option.
  • Checkboxes are used for a user to mark a preference with multiple possible answers. For example: If the question is, “When are you available for a call.” The options could be morning, afternoon, evening. Checkboxes allow a user to select multiple options to the question.
  • Radio buttons allow a user to select a single answer from the options provided. For example, If the question is, “What is your favorite color?” The options could be: Red, Blue, or Green. The user can only select one option from the choices provided.
  • Advanced fields are automatically formatted form field options. Use these for the common form field questions like name, date, phone number, email address, and mailing address

The Advanced tab is where you are provided with different options for your form. Make sure to check the box next to “Enable anti-spam honeypot” to avoid spam.

The next tab is the Confirmation tab where you can edit the message users receive after submitting a form.

Always make sure to save your form by clicking the “Save Form” button. A window will appear with various options. You can preview the form to see what it looks like, continue to edit the form, or return to the form dashboard.

Manage Form Entries

  • To manage form entries visit the Entries section. Any time someone fills out and submits a form on your website is will be stored here.
  • If you would like to export the entries locate the “Import/Export” option beneath forms in the left-hand sidebar and select a form to export entries from.

How to Add a NextGEN Image Gallery to a Page

After logging into the admin of a wordpress website locate the pages tab and choose a page that you would like to add an image gallery too.

Locate and click the “Add NextGEN gallery” button.

Galleries can be displayed in three different ways: an image list, a slideshow, and an imagebrowser. Choose a display option and select the gallery you would like to add to the page.

  • An image list displays thumbnails in rows and columns. If you click a thumbnail the image will enlarge.
  • A slideshow displays images that scroll through at a rate determined in the gallery options. A slideshow will automatically rotate images without any action by the user.
  • An image browser has a static image with navigation arrows. Arrows to the left and right allow the user to see previous or next images.

You can also add a single image from a gallery to a page.

  • Just select the “Picture” tab from the nextgen gallery menu and then choose an image from the drop down options.
  • You can format the image by specifying the width and height as well as whether it will be aligned to the left, in the middle, or to the right.
  • Click insert to add a single picture shortcode to the page. Adding a single picture to a page from a gallery allows the image to enlarge in the same window when it is clicked.

After logging into your wordpress website’s admin. Locate the Gallery option in the left hand sidebar. This will take you to the nextgen gallery dashboard. This is how you can control your images, galleries, and albums.

To create a new gallery visit the “Add Gallery/Images” tab in the gallery sidebar menu.

Choose the “add new gallery” tab. Enter a gallery title and click “Add gallery”.

To add images to your new gallery go to the “Upload images”.

  1. Select the gallery you wish to add images to from the drop down menu.
  2. Make sure to check the scale images box to automatically scale large images into a manageable size.
  3. Select files from your computer to add to the gallery. Only images files can be added to the nextgen gallery.
  4. Click “Upload images” to begin the uploading process. You can upload multiple images to a gallery all at once. (It may take sometime to upload multiple images to a gallery.)

Go to the “Manage Gallery” tab to access the images that you have just uploaded and choose a gallery from the list that you would like to access. You can edit the image title, alternate text, description, image order, and much much more. Explore the various options and settings available for the images in a gallery.

How to Login to a WordPress Website

  1. Enter your website’s URL into the address bar in an internet browser.
  2. Then, add “forward slash wp hyphen admin” at the end of the URL
  3. This will take you to the login screen where you will enter your username and password.
  4. Click “Log In” to arrive at the dashboard for your WordPress website’s admin.
  5. Welcome to the admin of your WordPress website

How to Login to a WordPress Multisite

First login to the admin of your WordPress website by entering your website’s URL into the address bar in an internet browser.

Then, add “forward slash wp hyphen admin” at the end of the URL

This will take you to the login screen where you will enter your username and password.

Click “Log In” to arrive at the dashboard for your WordPress website’s admin.

Locate “My Site” at the top of your dashboard.

Hover over the text “my sites” to see your site admin options.

Choose the site that you wish to access.

Now you have access to the admin of your separate multisites.
