1. Open Outlook Express. Click tools, accounts.

2. Click on the Mail tab, highlight your email account and click the Properties button.

3. Click on the Servers tab.
|
|
4. Make sure you Outgoing mail (SMTP) server is set to mail.yourdomain.com.
(*Note: Replace yourdomaim.com with your actual domain name.)

5. Put a check in the box beside, "My server requires authentication", under the Outgoing Mail Server section.
|

6. Click on the Settings button.
|
|
7. Place the bullet next to "Use same settings as my incoming mail server".
|
|
8. Click the OK button.
|
|
9. Click the Apply button.
|
|
10. Click on the OK button.
|
|
11. Congratulations! You are finished. Click on the Close button.
