When this happens it generally indicates a network problem and is a temporary problem. Depending on where the network problem is will depend on what you will have to do to resolve it. The majority of the time the problem will be outside your and our control and will clear up on it’s own. If this is a lingering problem (more than 2-3 days) further action may be required.
This problem is occasionally caused by forwards. If you know that you have a lot of forwards set up and this problem lingers feel free to contact us to review your forwards.
If there are no forwards that are causing you to receive multiple copies of messages you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and have them check your connection.
Once your internet connection has been tested if the problem continues you will need to take a good look at your computer. If you are on a wireless connection you might want to reposition your computer to give you better line of sight to the wireless router. If you are on a wired connection I would first try connecting to another port on the router/switch/hub. Then I would try a new network cable. If a new cable does not bring about improvement you may need to replace your network interface card (NIC).
